Stalk to ya later, Senator Waltz!

Last Friday, Special Judge Brian Williams vacated the temporary protective order granted to state senator Brent Waltz in February against his primary opponent, Mike Beeles.

As you may recall, Waltz sought the order after Beeles stood on a ladder and took photos into Waltz' apartment in an effort to bolster his claim that Waltz rented the apartment solely to satisfy residency requirements while actually living elsewhere.

Beeles' residency challenge was rejected by the Indiana Election Commission, but Judge Williams verifies Beeles' impression by noting that Beeles' photos "depict a unit that appear uninhabited."

The timing of the order (before the primary) might certainly raise eyebrows, but for the Judge to wait would have rewarded Senator Waltz for filing of a very flimsy protective order. Now voters know that Waltz's claim that Beeles stalked him was not supported.

So do you oppose counting the thousands of votes in college communties by college students for Obama? They too do not live there and are not legal residents of those communites. I do not support the Senator Waltz and intend to vote against him tomorrow but I am consistent and believe those college students also should not vote where they do not live.

Trick question. Residency requirements for voters only require that you have lived in the precinct in which you are voting for the thirty days prior to the election.

anon 6:00 you need to review the law for establishing residency. The college students are adults and my establish their own legal residence...
