Rating the Ads

As a prelude to my upcoming post, I'd like to ask my readership to try to be objective and answer this question:

On a scale of 1-10, how do you like the political ads for Jill Long-Thompson? As part of your answer, feel free to consider creativity, style (a/k/a "the look and feel" of the ads), how effectively the ads convey their message, and how effective they are at "sticking" in your mind.

3. They are terrible and I wish I could sit down with her and work on even just basic things like how to talk.

2.2

They are some of the laziest, least impressive ads that i have ever seen. i don't even think i'll vote for her.

2...They have horrible graphics, she wears the same powder blue suit throughout, they say nothing, and when she talked about her connections to farming, she was standing on the steps of the statehouse...couldnt she find a tractor or a cornfield or something farm related in the state of Indiana. I am starting to fear that she is running such a horrible campaign that she may lead to the defeat of some state legisltators....someone needs to talk to her SOON.

She has pulled her ads this week. Hope she is upgrading them. And kicking the asses of her management team into action.I think she must jump on Mitch with both feet and talk about his BS talking points. No new taxes. Jobs for Hoosiers by means of Major Move. The red herring "1-2-3" property tax cap. There are so many others. God I hope she will.

I saw her RV ad and didn't pay much attention to the audio because I thought it was a Mitch ad.

I give her RV One ad a 4 for what she attempted to portray, but a 1 for execution. If I didn't already know what she was trying to say I wouldn't have known what the damn ad was about.

The rest of her ads get a 1 because I don't think zero was an option.

They dont seem real-- they feel fake. The RV1 advertisement was a good idea but felt staged and phony. She doesnt come off as being real. Mitch seems to be more real and he is trying to connect as a person.

I can only say that my opinion of the ads is fairly weak, as I never see them. I apparently do not watch enough TV to see Jill. I see plenty of Mitch however. I haven't even recieved any mailers. My only question is where is the state party money, who is running this trainwreck, why doesn't someone give Jill some clothes from this decade, and sadly is anyone going to be shocked when she loses miserably. I am incredibly disappointed and worried for the candidates down ticket.

Anon 1:06...apparently she only owns one pants suit...it is powder blue....

at best, they are probably a 4. When she talks about jobs, she might be slightly convincing, but usually ruins any credibility she'd gain somewhere else in the ad.

some of the gov's ad's are a 4 too. but he's usually in the 7-9 range.

I'll agree with anon 1:06. she could be costing the party in the state a lot of credibility. the republicans could easily take back the house because of it.
